Just When We Thought It Couldn't Get Any Better!

The last travel day was to Lake Maligne and Spirit Island. Spirit Island is supposedly the most pictured scenery in the world. We could fully understand! The trip was an excellent opportunity to view God's gifts to us. I highly recommend everybody to go and see for themselves.

The Best for Last

On our way to Jasper we stopped off at the Athabasca Glacier. On the picture our tour guide Connie Ross is assisting Ray in getting a glass of melted glacier water. They say is has powers of youth. Ray drank a gallon!

Where I Want to Return...

While in Banff we rode the bus to Lake Louise. Words CANNOT explain... just check out the pictures

We Are Barely Getting Started...

After a couple more ferry rides we ended up in Vancouver where we stayed several days. Then on to the Rocky Mountaineer Day Train. It was very spacious and we had great people to travel with. Unfortunately we ATE ALL OF THE TIME! But the food was good.

After two days on the train we ended up in Banff. GOD is still the most gifted architect, and that is all that needs to be said.

A Huge Summer Wrap-up!

Ray and I had the privilege of traveling in the Canadian Rockies the end of August. I will attempt to do the trip justice in this blog but I have a feeling it may be in vain. We flew to Seattle and took a ferry to Vancouver Island and stayed two evenings in Victoria, British Columbia. Victoria is called the Garden City which is totally understandable because of the thousands of gorgeous hanging baskets along the street. While on the island we visited Butchart Gardens

Half Way There........

The Fond du Lac County Fair and the Wisconsin State Fair were more fun with old and new friends. I think for my purposes they are the perfect mix of agriculture and youth with food and fellowship mixed in for a chaser. A person does not experience life at its best until they have attended at least one Fair over the summer.

That is just the beginning!

Usually after the breakfast is done I can start to get ready for County Fair, but this year I made a BRIEF stop in Sheboygan County for the 2006 Farm Technology Days. They had an extremely well attended event and it was especially fun for me to see lots of old friends but even more importantly made more new ones. Thanks Sheboygan County for being so warm and friendly, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Pleeeeease Forgive Me!

The last entry I made to my blog was Memorial Day and now we are already past Labor Day. I will in as few words as possible try to summarize my summer. The JDM Breadfast on the Farm was a typical Agri-Business Council event, Successful! Congratualtions to the Hettwer Family for hosting the event on their beautiful farm near Dotyville. Thanks also to Holiday Auto for supplying me with the pictured Flex-fuel vehicle. It was fun!
